Wife, mom, wellness entrepreneur—and just a woman who decided to live on purpose.
I help women feel better from the inside out—through clean products, faith-filled habits, and grace over guilt.
How I got here…
I wasn’t always “into health.”
In fact, for most of my early adult life, I thought being tired, inflamed, and bloated was just normal. But in my 30s, everything changed. I started experiencing painful joint swelling, fatigue, and food reactions that no one could explain.
When I turned 40, I worked with a nutritionist, discovered my food sensitivities, and began making real, lasting changes. That journey led me to create The Roasted Purpose, a protein coffee that didn’t hurt my gut or sabotage my mornings—and later, The Purposeful Plate cookbook, the 10-Day Morning Reset, and a wellness community rooted in faith, not shame.
But this isn’t just about coffee. Or collagen.
It’s about choosing to show up differently—for your body, your family, your calling.
“I believe wellness should be nourishing, not punishing. That small shifts create big changes. And that our health is one way we honor the bodies God gave us.” - Joanna
My mission is to help women feel strong, supported, and free—by simplifying wellness, leading with faith, and living out my values in everything I do.
Whether I’m creating clean products, doing laundry, or running a family business, it all comes back to this:
Nourish. Empower. Uplift.
Why I Do What I Do
Family Is Everything
I don’t just work with my family—I build with them. And that’s one of the greatest blessings of my life.
I get to spend my days alongside my husband Matt, who’s been my rock through every season, and our son Jayden, who’s now helping run our operations department and bringing new energy to everything we do.
Partnering with my brother Terry and sister-in-law Collee through SwiftCoat Cabinets has been an unexpected gift—we share the same values of hard work, excellence, and serving people well.
Our oldest daughter Anna, lives in Texas with her husband James and our first grandbaby, Annalyse (who totally stole my heart). And our son Gabe is in Kansas City—for now. We’re praying he comes home to lead one of our SwiftCoat teams soon.
Whether it’s coffee, construction, or clean living, everything we do is rooted in purpose—and built as a family.
I’d Love to Hear From You.
If something I shared resonated with you—whether it was about wellness, faith, or family—I’d love to know.
This isn’t just a business for me. It’s a mission. And one of the best parts is connecting with other women walking through their own purpose-filled journey.
